MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT 2009/2010- VIJAYANDRAN SUPRAMANIAM

I am proud and happy that the members all had the faith in me to allow me to lead the way as The Rotary Club of Kamunting"s 14th president, and I will do my utmost to live up to their expectations and bring our club to greater heights.
This year, our RI emphasis on water, health, hunger and literacy, with particular focus on water and sanitation, as the scarcity of clean water is an increasingly serious issue in many part of the word. We hope that we can carry out projects that will at least go a little way toward providing relief for the 6 million plus children who do not have access to any of the above. We should continue to work for the health and well being of not only children but also their families and people everywhere.
I am confident that together with all the wonderful and committed members as well as our passionate District Governor Leslie Salehuddin and dedicated Assistant Governor Dr Krishna Kumar, the future of Rotary should very well in our hand.
